Remove ink stains from leather

How to remove ink stains on leather e.g. armchair, sofa, jacket, bag, shoes, etc.

With a circular motion, wipe the stain with a cotton cloth dampened with a little body lotion or face cream (even white sunscreen will do) mixed with a few drops of white vinegar.

If that does not work, dab ink stains with a cloth soaked in surgical spirit.
After removing the stain, rub moisturiser into the leather.

If the stains still persist, apply hairspray.
Absorb the ink with a clean cloth as soon as it becomes diluted.
Repeat until the stain completely disappears.

You can also dab ink stains with a cloth soaked in hot (but not boiling) milk or surgical spirit.

You can also dab the ink stain with a sponge dampened with stone clay and a few drops of alcohol.
Slowly and gently rub the stain in a circular motion.
The stain will take a while to disappear. After removing the stain, rub baby body wash into the leather.
