Wine stains removal

Here some tips to remove wine stains (be it red or white wine):

Immediately sprinkle the wet stain with flour or diatomaceous earth (or diatomite). When the flour is dry, brush and then dab with a cloth soaked in milk. A little soapy water and the stain will disappear.

Or if the wine has just been spilt, absorb as much of the stain as possible with a clean cloth and then wipe immediately with a sponge or towel moistened with baking soda and water.

Vinegar or cold water can also remove a wine stain.

If the stain persists, soak it in warm milk or vinegar for an hour or longer if necessary and then rinse.
