Removal of ink stains on imitation leather

Remove ink stains on leatherette or imitation leather (sofa, chair, jacket, coat, bag, shoes, boots) with cotton wool soaked in makeup remover supplemented with a few drops of surgical spirit or vinegar or even hairspray. Rub gently, renewing the cotton wool as it gets dirty.

You can also dab the ink stain with a cloth dampened with stone clay containing a few drops of alcohol. Slowly and gently rub the stain in a circular motion. The stain will take a while to disappear.
